Awards
Currently these are the only approved awards, other awards will be added on a case by case basis by request or circumstance.
-Infantry Assault Badge-
Requirements: The applicant must have been involved in 3 infantry attacks at three separate tacticals.
-Wound Badge-
Requirements: The applicant must be injured during a reenactment, this will be determined on a case by case basis, higher grades of this medal can be awarded depending on the number of different injuries.
-Iron Cross 2nd Class-
Requirements: During a tactical event the applicant must be witnessed performing an act of exceptional bravery that assisted in the outcome of a battle decisively.
-Ost Front Medal-
Requirements: Operate at at least 3 events where the weather is below freezing. This can also be given on a case by case basis for persisting through a cold weather incident. (Note: This award can only be worn at events that are after June 1942.)
RANKS
Currently these are the only active ranks, due to the current size of the unit an Uffz. is the highest achievable rank. When the unit grows in size higher ranks will be supplemented. The only other way to be promoted out of the requirements is to gain a field promotion due to extreme circumstances.
Enlisted Men
-Schutze- This is the first rank for an enlisted man. It is the equivalent of an E-1 or a Private in the American Army. Every member starts at this rank.
Requirements:
- Be a member of the unit.
-OberSchutze- This is the rank of a soldier who has a little more experience than a Schutze but who still has some more work to do before they are a fully trained soldier.
Requirements:
- Complete Recruit Training
- Attend at least 3 events
-Gefreiter- This is the equivalent of a private first class in a modern western army. A Gefreiter is an experienced soldier who has completed all of his basic training.
Requirements:
-Own or have access to all the required equipment
-Complete recruit training
-Attend at least 3 events
-OberGefreiter- An OberGefreiter is a veteran soldier, he serves as an example to all other soldiers. An OberGefreiter sometimes serves as an assistant to the gruppe leader.
Requirements
- Be a member for over a year
- Attend 20 events
Non-Commissioned Officers
Unteroffizier: An Unteroffizier is a junior NCO and is tasked with leadership duties. The Uffz. often leads a gruppe.
Requirements:
- A vacant NCO position must be open.
- The applicant must have leadership potential and be at least an OGefr.
